Practice meets

These give members without access to walls an opportunity for practise, with experienced wallers on hand to advise and assist. They also serve as a free taster session, without commitment, for those considering a new skill or interest.

If you would like to try a taster session please contact us in good time beforehand to allow us to assign an experienced companion for the day and get directions etc to you.

Annual Competition and Annual General Meeting

02/10/2010 - Annual Competition 2010

Entry fee is £5 for either category Open/Amateur
There are cash prizes, trophies for 1st place in either category and stint money of £25 for all those completing their section in the 7 hours allocated

13/11/2010 - Annual General Meeting 2010

The 2010 Annual General Meeting of the Yorkshire Dry Stone Walling Guild, at the Annexe, Thirsk Town Hall. Commences at 3pm.
